OZZYBEE TAKES HIS “STOP CHILD CRUELTY” CAMPAIGN TO KADUNA STATE IN NIGERIA AND ALSO RECEIVED HIS 3RD CHIEFTAINCY TITLE.

History was made penultimate weekend as OzzyBee a.k.a Ozzybosco WonderKid and his crew of OzzyBosco Smile Foundation stormed Kaduna State with his pet project “STOP CHILD CUELTY” (SCC), The campaign which is fast attracting the attention of the larger society was born when the Africa’s Best Kid Entertainer came across news of the gruesome treatment of a four year old boy, Usman Abubakar Sadiq from Zaria on the internet. On that fateful morning, OzzyBee wept bitterly and could not attend school. He kept pleading to be taken to Usman to sing, dance and make him happy.

It was indeed a dream come true for the 9 year old multiple Igbo Chief as he embarked on a humanitarian trip to the ancient city of Zaria; solely sponsored by his OzzyBosco Smile Foundation.

The first port of call was the Professor Ango Abdullahi International School, Tudun Wada, Zaria where he finally met Usman Abubakar Sadiq who is undergoing rehabilitation after losing his eyes to ritualists. The visit was first of its kind by any humanitarian organization led by a 9 year old superstar.

The wonderKid was accorded a rousing reception by the school authority alongside huge turnout villagers in company of Usman Sadiq’s parents who trouped out to have a glimpse of the kid philanthropist. It was passion and love sharing as OzzBee hub knobbed Usman in excitement and apparent expression of “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”. After rendering a heart touching speech. The Kid sensation in his humanitarian characteristics extended his hands of love to the little Usman in support of his education when he made cash donations to the school as well as to the parents. That was in addition to assorted educational as well as promotional materials. This gesture was well applauded by the management of the school before large media presence.

The intimidating profile of a young academic genius who hit the entertainment lamb light when he carted home the prestigious "Best Entertainer Act" Season Seven of Kids Got Talent Competition in 2011 at the very tender age of four years, attracted the Zazzau Emirate who had to extend a Royal invitation to OzzyBee and His Foundation.

OzzyBosco Smile Foundation (OSF) a non Governmental organization led by the founder Chief Elizabeth Nonye Mojekwu honoured the invitation his shortly after the visit to Usman’s School.

It was difficult to describe the kind of reception given to the young OzzyBee by the Emirate. It took the security personnel a while to clear the crowd around the ancient palace of the Emir of Zazzau His Royal Highness Alh Dr Shehu Idris CFR to allow for OzzyBee convoy to drive into the palace.

At the palace the team was treated to a warm royal reception by the longest serving Emir of the entire northern caliphate alongside the Ciroma Zazzau and members of his cabinet.

In his speech, OzzyBee thanked the Emir and acquainted him with his Pet project STOP CHILD CRUELTY and his mission in Zaria. Having patiently listened to the various speeches, HRH Alh Dr Shehu Idris CFR the Emir of Zazzau, commended the OSF and showered his royal blessings to the child prodigy.

As a token of love, the vibrant Kid Artiste OzzyBee a.k.a OzzyBosco WonderKid, having described the Emir as one of Africa’s foremost peace crusader, a father and lover of children, a paramount enigma and quintessential Royal institution endowed with uncommon wisdom, went on to bestow on him the AFRICAN CHILDREN PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD.

This was well received by The Emir who promised to position the Award at a very visible position in his palace. He also promised to support and associate with the OzzyBosco Smile Foundation in her future endeavour towards the campaign against child cruelty. The Emir commended the effort of the foundation as described it as first of its kind since the incidence occurred in the city of Zaria.

There is a saying that “a prophet is not known in his domain”. OzzyBee demystified this saying when the following day after his victorious visit to Zaria he was also hosted by the Igbo community in Kaduna.

As a fast rising son of the Igbo extract, who has continuously kept the mandate of portraying his people in good light, the entire Igbo community in Kaduna State pride in his exploit and decided to honour him.

He was first accorded a sumptuous reception at the palace of the Eze Igbo Kaduna; His Royal Highness Eze Anaeke in company of His wife and the entire cabinet. OzzyBee accompanied the Ezeigbo to the center of the FIFA approved stadium to perform the traditional kick off ceremony of the football tournament featuring the Eboyin FC and the ZDM FC.

Shortly after that, the OSF was received at the Ahmadu Bello International Stadium venue of the Unity Cup football championship heralding the annual Igbo week where OzzyBee was the special guest of honour.

The high point of the day was the honoring of the Kid star with a chieftaincy tittle of NWA CHIMERE EZE by the Eze Igbo HRH IGWE SYLVANUS ANEKE and full complement of his cabinet at the stadium. The honor which was third in the series of his Chieftaincy recognitions, coming after Nwata Kwochaka Igbo and Omenanwata Ndi Igbo, received alongside dignitaries like Alh Bamanga Tukur.

The “SMILE AGAIN” icon was mobbed by the crowd at the stadium who wanted to have a glimpse of the WonderKid. In his usual characteristics, the Charlie Dance Artiste and STOP CHILD CUELTY campaigner thanked the Ezeigbo and the entire Igbo community in his local dialect as well as distributed his highly prestigious souvenirs to the Eze and his cabinet members as well as the crowd. Virtually everyone that came to that stadium went home with a complimentary copy of his new hit single “Charlie Dance” featuring Rugged Man and Vector, and other video Cds compilation.
