Miss World Honduras 2016 is Kerelyne Campigotti

18-year old Kerelyne Campigotti Webster was chosen “Miss Honduras Mundo (Miss World Honduras)” during a gala held in La Ceiba on August 12th.

Kerelyne competed as Miss El Progreso and stands 1.83 m in height.  She is a last-year high-school student and will represent Honduras during the 66th Miss World finals to be held in Washington DC, USA, on December 18th.

The 1st and runner-ups were Fernanda Gonzalez and Sinea David, who are expected to compete in pageants such as Miss International and Miss Intercontinental.

The pageant is organized by Eduardo Zablah, under the name “Miss Honduras-Belleza Nacional”, but this year the name was changed to Miss Honduras Mundo to reflect more its ties with the Miss World Organization.  Courtesy Televicentro
