The Organisers of Face of Lagos Beauty Pageant, Reel Production Global , are preparing to explode the inaugural edition of the beauty pageant tagged: Face of Lagos Beauty Pageant, Nigeria’s most populous city, the status of Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria, and the undisputed center of excellence has been on the rise in the past few years. It is, however, against the background of this zest that has enveloped Lagos that we introduce an innovative beauty pageant to keep the vision of the mega city alive. 

 

The primary aim of “Face of Lagos Beauty Pageant” is to re-orient the youth (sic) and the young community in Lagos using the embodiment of a lady as her ambassador, that is young, beautiful, vibrant and brilliant, a statement by the pageant’s organisers read. 
Young ladies between the ages of 18 and 26 are eligible to enter the pageant. It is also expected to act as a bridge between the government and its teeming young female population in the State. The organizers said the winner of the pageant will work closely with various organs of state to address the pitfalls many young Nigerians face when migrating to Africa’s largest city. The latest reports estimate the size of Lagos’ population at 21 million and organisers said many female youths turn to prostitution and premature marriages to support themselves. Reel Production Global, is projecting the launch of the inaugural edition of Face of Lagos Beauty pageant, a pageant with excellence a pageant with class, a pageant of global standard, a pageant of new generation.
